What is a Mini Hookah?
Hookah is also called “waterpipe”, “Qalyan” or “narghile”. Mini Hookah is like a regular hookah but it is much smaller. Smaller size makes it more convenient to transport. You can take it whenever you want without taking too much extra space.
Hookahs originate from India and Persia. They are used to smoke flavored tobacco. The smoke will go through the water before the inhalation and that is the reason why it is also called “waterpipe”.
E-hookah
First they invented e-cigarettes and now they have come up with an idea to make also a e-hookah. In fact, they work exactly as e-cigs. The only difference they have is that they have flavored vapor. They don’t contain tobacco nor tar and other toxins. You can have a nice smoke without harming your and other peoples health. They don’t mess up your place and you don’t need time for preparing your hookah. Just take it out of your pocket and it is ready. It lasts up to 700 puffs. They come in a wide variety of flavors starting from different fruits and ending with mint chocolate.

Blue Moon
Pour the Blue Moon (2- 12 oz) into the bottom of the hookah base add the oranges (3 peeled and crushed in the blender, also regular orange juice can be used) and ice. Smoke it with citrus shisha.
Chocolate Banana
Fill your base with chocolate liquor. You can also use chocolate milk instead, but fill the base only 1/4 with it and fill the rest of it with water because chocolate milk will start to bubble and it will come through the hose. Smoke with banana shisha.
Citrus
Fill the base with water and add ~6 teaspoons lemon juice and ~3 teaspoons of lime juice. Smoke with citrus or margarita shisha.
Rum Delicious
Mix rum and coke into the base of your hookah. You can also add some ice cubes.
White Russian
Add coffee liquor, vodka and a small portion of cream or milk into the base. Smoke with chocolate shisha.
Wild Lettuce
Add 6 drops of wild lettuce oil, 6 teaspoons of lemon juice, and 3 teaspoons of lime juice into the base. Fill the rest of it with water. Add some ice cubes.
Construction of a Mini Hookah
The construction of Mini Hookahs differs but I will briefly explain what the most common parts do. Your Mini Hookah may not consist of all these parts because some parts are not necessary for its operation.
Bowl or the head of the hookah holds the tobacco and the coal.
Diffuser breaks up air bubbles to make the smoking smoother. It also makes it quieter.
Hookahs have 3 types of grommets. Grommets make the hookah more airproof and hence increase the amount of smoke breathed in. Some people prefer to use paper or tape instead of grommets.
Hose or pipe is used to drawn the smoke for a distance. It also helps to cool down the smoke before inhalation. Hoses are usually flexible and they have mouthpiece at one end.
The plate catches ashes that fall off the coals.
Water jar or base or vase is filled with water or sometimes even with other liquids. The smoke becomes cooler and more humid after it bubbles through the water.
Windscreen helps to keep the burn rate and the temperature of the coal. It also prevents ashes to be blown away to the surroundings.
Operation of a Mini Hookah
The water jar is filled with water. The end of the down stem has to be under water. Tobacco is placed in the head of the Mini Hookah and the head is covered with the foil sheet. A hot coal is placed on top of the foil screen. That heats up the tobacco and makes it smoke.
Sucking the hose draws the smoke down through the down stem and underwater. The smoke will rise up above the water and it will be trapped in the water jar. Sucking the hose will draw the smoke through the hose port opening and the hose into the smoker’s mouth.
